Womens Boating ShoesPosted: 16 Oct 09 9:33 AM
~ I need some input. I bought a pair of NRS Attack shoes because I need something with a little more sole for hikes in/out of places. However, the smallest size they have is a 6 and it was too big for my foot (not a big deal because I can wear a sock with it) but it was also too big to fit in my boat. My feet sit way up in the bow, and I have somewhat small feet. I don't want to keep spending money on shoes - so I'm wondering what works for you all? In regular shoes, I wear a 6 1/2. Right now I'm using the boot called the NRS Sock -size 6, but it's just too thin for walking.

CKS is recommending the Cherry Bomb - anyone use this shoe?

Any suggestions?

I liked these so much I ordered a backup pair before they sold out in my size: http://www.sierratradingpost.com/p/,96701_Montrail-Upper-Ocoee-Water-Booties-Whitewater-Paddling-For-Women.html

They have a nice tight fit and a super sticky bottom. Fairly small profile for the support they offer. Good compromise between a shoe and a bootie.

Still have them in a 6 for you!

Also, Christine had a post on MB a while back (you will see I responded with virtually the same thing there). Here's a link: http://www.mountainbuzz.com/forums/f11/help-me-find-booty-18246.html
